The San Francisco Stand-up Comedy Competition returns to the Marin Center for its 47th year. Each contestant will perform their very best five to seven-minute set. 

This year's competition features two preliminary rounds on consecutive Saturdays (September 2 & 9), so fans will have the opportunity to enjoy the entire field of amazing talent vying for $20,000 in prize money and untold glory. The September 2nd show will be hosted by comedian Dauood Naimyar. And the September 9th show will be hosted by Orion Levine.

Past participants in this comedy showcase include the likes of Dana Carvey, Ellen DeGeneres, Marc Maron, Patton Oswalt, Paula Poundstone, Wanda Sykes, and the late great Robin Williams.
