The Marin Dish was cooked up by Kevin Blum, a proud Marin County native with a knack for uncovering the tastiest spots in town. Before launching this foodie haven, Kevin founded SF City Dish, a wildly popular lifestyle newsletter that kept 25,000+ Bay Area subscribers in the loop on all things delicious. After selling City Dish to DiningOut Magazine in 2013, he stayed busy doing PR for restaurants and bars before stepping into the role of Yelp's North Bay Marketing/Community Director—where he basically got paid to eat, drink, and hype up local businesses (tough job, but someone had to do it).
During his 8-year Yelp tenure, Kevin wrote the Weekly Yelp newsletter, hosted over 300 restaurant, bar, and winery events, and even popped up on KRON-4’s Morning News each week to share the Bay Area’s latest and greatest.
