The Marin Dish was launched by Kevin Blum, a Marin County-native. Kevin was the founder/editor of SF City Dish, a popular lifestyle email newsletter which went out weekly to 25,000+ Bay Area subscribers. After selling City Dish to DiningOut Magazine in 2013, Kevin continued to do restaurant/bar PR for a number of local establishments before taking on the role as Yelp's North Bay Marketing/Community Director.
During his 8-year tenure, Kevin wrote the Weekly Yelp newsletter; hosted 300+ restaurant/bar/winery events, and appeared weekly on KRON-4's Morning News to highlight Bay Area businesses and happenings.
With the Marin Dish, Kevin has created a platform to showcase small businesses and give biz owners a chance to tell their unique stories through videos, podcasts, events, and more. It's also a community where local foodies and tastemakers can discover their own delicious Marinspiration.
When Kevin isn't writing blurbs about himself in the 3rd person, he enjoys playing tennis, walking his dog, swing dancing with two left feet, and sipping on a cocktail.
