We're a family-run Mexican/Salvadoreña cuisine that's available for pick-up and delivery.
The menu has two separate sections, each of which reflects the authentic Latin American culinary heritage, style of cuisine and distinct flavors of the restaurant’s two owner chefs.
Alba Carranza is from El Salvador where, as is common in her culture, she learned to cook from her mother who made and sold pupusas. Carranza fills her handmade tortillas with cheese and adds in beans, roasted pork or shredded squash and spinach. Her crispy pasteles — deep-fried turnovers that resemble Mexican empanadas — contain ground beef, potatoes, carrots, onions and tomato. She serves these and her yuca frita — fried pork and cassava — with pickled cabbage and fresh tomato sauce. You’ll also find fajitas and a number of larger protein plates with sides.
On the Mexican end of the menu, Cecilio Dominguez prioritizes authenticity, simplicity and taste. His tacos are sold individually and filled with grilled chicken, steak, pastor or carnitas and are dappled with onion, cilantro, lime and red or green sauce.
