Situated on a spit of land jutting into Richardson Bay, the views – yes, of spinnakers, but also of the San Francisco skyline – are fantastic, helped by the floor-to-ceiling windows. Indulge in a peach Bellini and a seafood Caesar with scallops and shrimp and marvel at your good fortune to be seated here.
For land lubbers, there’s chicken parm and a bone-in pork chop with polenta and asparagus but pay attention to the seafood-focused menu. Thick with halibut, clams and mussels, bouillabaisse arrives with remoulade and garlic bread, crab mac and cheese is run under the broiler to crisp the parmesan and bread crumb topping, and clam chowder whispers of Boston with a touch of whole milk. When the sun hits the bay on its way down, the light in the room is simply magical.
