Spend Valentine’s evening wrapped in the glow of passionate, soulful jazz with acclaimed vocalist Deborah Winters at Mill Valley’s intimate O'Hanlon Center for the Arts.
A lifelong Bay Area artist, Winters brings a rich musical lineage to the stage. Raised on Big Band jazz and classical dance, her sound was shaped early by legends like Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington, alongside the storytelling sensibilities of singer-songwriters Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, and Rickie Lee Jones. Her background in theater infuses every performance with narrative depth and emotional nuance.
Over the years, Winters has shared the stage with some of the Bay Area’s most respected musicians, including Bobby McFerrin and Brazilian guitar master Jose Neto, earning a reputation for performances that are both intimate and deeply expressive.
For this special Valentine’s concert, she’s joined by Ken Cook on piano and John Hoy on guitar. Together, the trio creates a warm, nuanced evening of jazz—perfect for sharing with someone special. 💕🎶
