Brief Encounter is making a brief appearance at the Lark Theater (Sunday, January 8th and Monday, January 9th). David Lean's 1945 romantic classic stars Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard and features an unforgettable music by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Synopsis:

On a cafe at a railway station, housewife Laura Jesson meets Dr. Alec Harvey. Although they are already married, they gradually fall in love with each other. They continue to meet every Thursday at the small cafe, although they know that their love is impossible.
