Wreckless Strangers will be the headliner of Marin Art & Garden Center's Summer Concert Series this Thursday.
The band's unique stew of “Bay Area Gumbo” melds the contemporary blues stylings of Bonnie Raitt and Boz Scaggs; the songwriting sensibilities of Fleetwood Mac; the swashbuckling Americana of the Lost Planet Airmen and Peter Rowan; and the funk of Sly Stone and Tower of Power with a dash of Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane for flavor and unpredictability.
Pre-order gourmet picnic offerings or bring your own. Premium wine, beer, and gelato will be available for purchase. Concerts are on the lawn and in the Redwood Amphitheater. Bring your refillable water bottle, blanket, low-backed lawn chairs, family, and friends. The Garden School will host a KidZone with activities for the little ones.
