Celebrate Earth Day with the community at the 3rd Annual Tam Valley Earth Day Festival—a fun, hands-on day packed with activities, learning, and eco-inspiration for all ages.

Come early (10am) to kick things off:

  • 🐋 “Beyond the Bark” presentation by The Marine Mammal Center
  • 🌿 Build your own plant propagator with Aaron Sanchez (The Local Trade)

Starting at 11am, the festival is in full swing:

  • 🚴‍♂️ Smoothie Bike – kids power their own delicious creations
  • 🎨 Silkscreen Station – print a custom bag or bring your own item
  • 🦋 Monarch Butterfly Talk – plus free milkweed seeds to take home
  • 🌼 Marine Mammal Center Activity Booth – interactive fun for all ages
  • 🪨 Mandala Rock Painting with Niki (sign-ups every half hour)
  • 🌿 Green Burial Info with Fernwood Cemetery
  • ☕ Fresh coffee from Upside Coffee + baked treats from Birdland Bakery

  • FREE Compost Giveaway (front lot) – bring a bag, take what you need, and share the love with your neighbors 🌱

🎬 3pm | Special Film Screening:

 Sequoias of the Sea — a powerful new documentary on kelp forest loss and restoration along the California coast, followed by insights from filmmakers and ocean experts.
