Celebrate a brand-new record as the Zoe FitzGerald Carter Band returns to Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley for the release of Chaos By Design, with Hannah Mayree opening the night. The new album's twelve songs go looking for beauty and meaning in a world that feels more chaotic by the day.
The Bay Area author turned singer-songwriter will be backed by her longtime band of Brian Bloom, Dan Purtell and Andy Chamatz, plus local guests including Sweetwater favorite Vicki Randle, who sings on the album. Opener Hannah Mayree, a California songwriter, banjo player and founder of The Black Banjo Reclamation Project, weaves African diasporic rhythms and Appalachian textures into vivid storytelling, and will also sit in with Zoe's band. Doors open at 7 PM and the show starts at 8 PM. This is an all-ages show, so grab your tickets and toast the new album with a hometown crowd.
