EL CAJON will be performing a free concert this Saturday at San Anselmo's Creek Park. Two parts California, two parts South Africa and one part Texas, EL CAJON is famous for their infectious high energy live shows, catchy hooks and five part harmony sing-a-long anthems that ignites the soul and makes you want to dance. With an accordion, keyboards, violin, rhythm guitar, electric bass and drums, their sound is rock n’ roll with a twist of roots and a blending of genres from folk, country, and South African.

Calling all Deadheads! Bearly Dead (an all-star cast of players with deep roots in the New England jam & festival scene) will be performing this Thursday at HopMonk Tavern.
While the band plays all of the Grateful Dead classics, they also dive into an extended catalog, which may include any song that any member of the Dead ever performed. With over 230 songs in rotation and new material being added all the time, Bearly Dead performs wildly different set-lists every night and ensures that each show is a unique experience.

Tchaikovsky’s thrilling 5th Symphony anchors the Marin Symphony's season opener this weekend. Women artists come to the fore with Joan Tower’s take on Copland’s famous Fanfare, and the exciting Simone Porter returns to perform Mendelssohn’s romantic violin concerto. Featuring Alasdair Neale as conductor, and Simone Porter on violin. There are two shows - Friday, October 15th at 7:30pm AND Saturday, October 16th at 3pm.
