After wintering at lobby level, downtown San Rafael’s most glamorous rooftop has returned to its more elevated situation.

Chef Francisco Carrera (Michelin-recommended Grange Restaurant & Bar at The Citizen Hotel, Il Fornaio) returns with a refreshed menu of small plates like White Sablefish Crudo, Chilled Oysters with champagne mignonette and Chicken Souvlaki with fetaThe high-top bar features unobstructed views of Mount Tamalpais where a signature White Linen cocktail or reimagined Love at First Sight martini made with Gray Whale gin can be savored as the sun dips below the horizon. 

New this year, the lounge areas with fire pits are now open for weekend brunch. Menu highlights include: Avocado Toast (hummus, avocado, poached egg, pickled onion, everything seasoning); Eggs BenedictPork Belly Hash (Bell peppers, Onion, potatoes, pork belly, harissa ketchup, sunny side-up eggs); Gravlax Sando (Herb cream cheese spread, Salmon, Cucumber, Tomatoes, Onion, Capers, Picked herbs).
