Buvette du Marais is a charming French café, bakery, and wine bar located in Larkspur’s Marin Country Mart. Brought to life by owner Patrick Ascaso, who founded San Francisco's celebrated Le Marais Bakery to recreate the traditional French boulangeries of his childhood, the open-air spot serves as an intimate "love letter to French cuisine." It has quickly become a favorite local destination for everything from a quick morning espresso to a relaxed, sit-down dinner.
Oh là là! The San Francisco bakery and café chain known for their wizardry with laminated dough has firmly established itself at Larkspur’s Marin Country Mart since making its highly anticipated debut in July 2024.
Operating as a bustling bakery by day and a cozy French bistro by night, the menu has completely expanded from its initial soft launch. Guests can enjoy a daytime lineup of giant flaky croissants, avocado croissant toasts, and savory buckwheat galettes alongside premium La Colombe coffee, or return later in the week for classic French dinner plates, like Steak aux Poivres and Le Burger on a croissant bun, paired with a curated list of regional French wines.
