Laos Kitchen serves a blend of Laotian & Thai flavors. Brought you by the owner of San Rafael's Bay Thai, Laos Kitchen is light, fresh and traditionally seasoned with chili peppers and aromatic herbs. A gourmet delight for those who know and love authentic food. It also has a temper, but you can have Lao cuisine in a pleasant blend of "spicy hot" and "spicy not." You decide.
If plates heaped with salad are your thing, may we suggest the Yum Woon Sen? Atop romaine lettuce spritzed with cilantro and mint, grilled prawns and gluten-free noodles come together with a lime and chile-flecked dressing, unifying the seemingly disparate ingredients most pleasingly. There’s curry, fried rice and noodle dishes, too, but the menu comes to life in Laotian dishes like khao piak sen (chicken noodle soup), mok moo (pork wrapped in banana leaf) and Lao sausage with tomato sauce.
