The SEQUOIA is owned and operated by CAFILM (California Film Institute), the non-profit arts organization that also owns and operates the Smith Rafael Film Center in San Rafael, produces the annual Mill Valley Film Festival, Doclands Documentary Film Festival and ongoing CAFILM Education programs. It offers a lively and diverse schedule of first-run engagements, including independent, foreign-language and documentary films and frequently welcomes special guests for entertaining and insightful conversations relevant to the programs.
