Chamber Music Marin presents the latest show in their 2025-2026 Chamber Music Concert Series. On Sunday, April 12, The Poulenc Trio will be performing at Mt. Tamalpais United Methodist Church in Mill Valley.
The Poulenc Trio is the most active touring piano-wind ensemble in the world. They will present a rich program including works by Francis Poulenc, Viet Cuong (2019, commissioned for the Trio), Jean Françaix and arrangements of Duke Ellington classics.
They will be joined by Guyanese-American soprano Shawnette Sulker for a series of songs by Poulenc, for whom melody was the most important musical element.
