San Francisco vocalist Kim Nalley has earned international acclaim for her beguiling combination of sass, soul, and smarts, making her uniquely suited to honor the legendary Lady Day. With remarkable dramatic presence, stylistic breadth, and technical skill, Nalley delivers a performance that is both a heartfelt tribute and a showcase of her own considerable talents. This 90-minute set is an abridged version of a longer tribute Nalley developed after playing the young Billie Holiday in the play 'Lady Day in Love.'
