Left Coast Syncopators are performing at Station House Cafe in Pt Reyes Station on Sunday, January 7th.
Left Coast Syncopators is an acoustic side-project of Rhythmtown-Jive, featuring a wide variety of American roots R&B, including boogie woogie, blues, cajun, roots rock, Southwest Louisiana Dance Hall music and New Orleans jazz. This scalable unit works for venues large and small, especially acoustically-challenged venues, or just those needing a more subtle yet live musical ambience. These guys are notorious mood-setters on acoustic piano, string bass, clarinet, tenor sax, trombone, tambourine, rubboard and traditional trap drums.
The band members, Tim Eschliman, Ken "Snakebite" Jacobs, Kevin Zuffi, and Bowen Brown have performed and recorded with some of the finest names in the business, and are in demand and recognized as journeymen in their field, having worked with Bo Diddley, Big Joe Turner, Frankie Ford, The Nightcrawlers (in New Orleans), and others.
