Nik Parr & The Selfless Lovers, an explosive Austin, Texas-based roots rock band, are bringing their electrifying sound to HopMonk on Thursday.

Imagine the raw passion of Bruce Springsteen colliding with the showmanship of Jerry Lee Lewis, wrapped in a New Orleans late-night revelry infused with Southern soul and Texas Gulf Coast groove. The jaw-dropping centerpiece? Frontman Nik Parr plays saxophone and piano at the same time — you truly have to see it to believe it. With over 150 shows per year under their belt, this band is known for their dynamic, high-energy live performances and have shared the stage with Marc Broussard, Rebirth Brass Band, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and more.
