San Rafael’s 3rd Annual Dancing Under the Lights returns to Fourth Street for a lively summer evening filled with music, dancing, and community fun. The festivities begin with a performance by talented young musicians from School of Rock, followed by free salsa lessons from Salsa Dance Marin. Bay Area party band Neon Velvet will then take the stage from 7–9 p.m. Attendees can also enjoy food from local restaurants and vendors, craft beer, hard cider and a marketplace featuring local artists. Kids can visit the craft table and jumpy zone, with additional activities available for guests of all ages. The free celebration takes place Friday, August 7, from 5–9 p.m. on Fourth Street between A Street and Lootens Place in Downtown San Rafael.
