Join Desire to Inspire Studios Foundation (DTISF) on Thursday, October 26th at the Red Oak Garden at San Rafael's Embassy Suites Hotel for an uplifting evening of live music from the students at School of Rock, incredible stories of people helping people in our community, and a chance to judge a culinary cookoff between David Haydon of Il Davide, Sean Saylor of Saylors Restaurant, Brian Whitmer of The Embassy Suites . KTVU-TV's Mark Ibanez will be the emcee for the evening.

Proceeds from this event directly support the DTISF after school internship program where youth learn to tell stories of people helping people and create the Sunny Side Update monthly program.

** The Sunny Side Update monthly good news program is dedicated to raising awareness of people helping people in our community to be a resource for people to get involved and or to be a resource for people in need, all the while providing a safe space for our youth to build their own community, build vocational skills, and let their voices be heard.
