Downtown San Rafael B.I.D.

Dining Under the Lights returns to downtown San Rafael's West end the second Friday of every month (weather permitting). 

The summer block party is a FREE monthly event where parts of 4th Street and B Street will be closed. Local restaurants will set up tables on the street with live bands nearby to entertain the crowds. Enjoy a variety of food and drink options from the Downtown restaurants, which may include specialties like barbecue, ice cream, tacos, and more. There will also be a maker’s marketplace, games, and activities for people of all ages, making it an enjoyable outdoor event for the entire family.

The Marin County Fair returns to San Rafael June 30- July 4. This year's theme is Electrifying! - celebrating all things electric, solar, and charged with excitement.

This year's fair will include fair favorites such as the juried Fine Arts and Photography Exhibit, headline concerts, free carnival rides, sheepdog trials, pig races, the petting zoo, fireworks every night, and much more. The popular competitive exhibits program will take place in person and celebrate our talented and creative community members with winning blue ribbons and more. 

Headline concerts by Melissa Etheridge, Patti LaBelle, Blue Öyster Cult, Stephen Marley and Exposé will rock the island stage each night at 7:30pm.

Tiburon Peninsula Chamber of Commerce

The Tiburon Classic Car Show (TCCS) is a wonderful community event held annually in Tiburon against the beautiful backdrop of the Tiburon Waterfront Park. The show celebrates the beauty of classic automobiles (produced prior to 1975).

Food, ice cream, soft drinks and adult drinks are available for purchase. Or, bring a picnic, relax on the lawn by the bay and enjoy the spectacular cars.

Cars are not formally judged, although there may be informal “People’s Choice” awards.

The Mill Valley Arts Commission's Comedy in the Plaza returns to downtown Mill Valley on Thursday, January 15th. Join friends and neighbors for a hilarious evening featuring the comedy stylings of Dennis Gaxiola, Phil Johnson, Al Ducharme, Kellen Erskine and the MC for the evening, Bernadette Pauley.
