Perhaps it’s the fire pits. Or, the large backyard that hosts live music every Sunday. Or, the weekend bagels from BagelMacher.
Whatever it is you come to enjoy at The Junction, the vibe is just right for families of all sizes and for kids of all ages. In addition to the gluten-free meatballs and mouthwatering pizza from Pizza Hacker, adults also like the extensive selection of beer, the foosball table and, yes, the highchairs. Because even if your little one is not going to sit in it, having it available can spin the dial towards a good experience for all.
Although Finnegan's is technically a neighborhood pub, it's one of the most family-friendly places in town!
While grownups gravitate to the burgers, salads, and Guiness Pot Roast, Finnegan's makes sure there are plenty of yummy options for the little ones. Kids Menu options include: Chicken Tenders; Cheesburger; Pizza; Grilled Cheese Sandwich; Mac n Cheese; Pasta Marinara, and Fish & Chips.
And on Sundays after 5pm, kids under 12 can eat free from the Kids Menu when accompanied by a dining adult. This includes choice of one milk, soda, or juice.
(** Limit One Kid Per Dining Adult)
Also, if your "home team" likes to play games, we recommend checking out Finnegan's Family Bingo Night the first Wednesday of every month at 6pm.
For anyone who craves delicious, high-quality fare in a welcoming, down-to-earth spot, Gott's Roadside is a tried-and-true family favorite.
Adults can feast on juicy cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and onion rings alongside crispy Ahi Poke tacos, and fresh salads.
The streamlined kids’ menu includes chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, grilled cheese, and hot dogs & corndogs.
While the kiddos slurp on ice cream shakes and root beer floats, the adults can sip on a fine selection of craft beers, wines by the glass, and Gott's Frosé (a blend of rose, strawberries & citrus). It's like a Slurpee for grownups!
Located in a strip mall about a block away from San Marin High School, Trailhead is not shy about supporting the older kid crowd.
Pastries, bread and bagels are sourced from Marin bakers, a small bites menu can (mostly) be eaten with your hands, and a kids’ menu includes a hot dog or grilled cheese served with sliced apples and chips.
Meanwhile, the adults can enjoy craft beer, wine, sandwiches, sausages, salads & more from the afternoon to the evening.
Needless to say, this place is worth the trek!
The values-forward approach at this all organic and “goo-free” restaurant sets parental minds at ease that their little ones are eating right. Nachos – vegan or cheesy – can be a meal here (all styles have the house’s yummy chipotle dressing).
The kids’ menu mirrors the adult menu with smaller versions of quesadilla, wraps, nachos and bowls. And if you're truly into family style dining, you'll be happy to know that all the salads are big enough to share!
