Grab your stars and stripes and head to the Corte Madera-Larkspur 4th of July Parade & Festival for a day packed with hometown pride, live entertainment, family fun, great food, and community spirit.
The festivities kick off with a parade at 10:30am, winding from Redwood High School through Larkspur and into Corte Madera, featuring marching bands, community groups, antique vehicles, pipe bands, cheer squads, and more.
After the parade, keep the celebration going at Corte Madera Town Park, where you'll find:

🎨 Artisan marketplace featuring local artists, photographers, etc.

Enjoy a lively marketplace featuring local artists, photographers, crafters, and artisans, along with delicious food booths offering everything from barbecue and pizza to hot dogs and wraps. Families can also enjoy children’s activities including face painting, corn hole, whiffle ball, bounce houses, and “The Cave” obstacle course.
The Marin County Fair returns to San Rafael July 1- July 5. This year's theme is Stars, Stripes & Stories, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary while honoring the past, embracing the present, and looking forward to the future.
This year's fair will include favorites such as the juried fine arts and photography exhibit, live music, free carnival rides, sheepdog trials, a petting zoo, pig races, nightly fireworks at 9:30pm, and more.

Start your Fourth of July with plenty of hometown pride at the Novato Fourth of July Parade, where downtown Grant Avenue comes alive with festive floats, marching bands, classic cars, community groups, equestrians, and plenty of red, white, and blue spirit.
Arrive early to enjoy free pre-parade entertainment beginning at 9am, then grab a spot along the parade route before the festivities kick off at 10am. It's a fun-filled morning for the whole family and the perfect way to celebrate America's birthday.
Want to make a morning of it? Fuel up beforehand at the popular Buckaroo Breakfast (7:00–10:00 AM), serving pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee, and more while supporting a great local cause.

There's no better place to ring in America's 250th birthday than Cavallo Point, perched at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge.
The festivities kick off in the late afternoon with a full BBQ spread featuring smoked natural pork ribs, BBQ spiced organic chicken, and all the classic sides, alongside beer, wine, and cocktails.
A jazz band keeps the party lively on the Callippe Terrace, while local artisans including Orchid & Pine, Dolly's Collective, Point Reyes Lavender, and Woodbine Bakery set up shop on the Parade Ground.
Kids can fly kites (included with a BBQ ticket), get their faces painted, and enjoy the full kids menu.
Historic tours and costumed storytellers bring Cavallo Point's rich military past to life throughout the day, and acoustic guitarist John Vicino performs into the evening. Arrive early — additional parking is available at the nearby Discovery Museum on a first-come, first-served basis.

This year's celebration is especially memorable as the nation marks America's 250th birthday, with fireworks launching from the Golden Gate Bridge, Marina Green, and Pier 39.
